It is now time to move my research on to the next generation. However, before doing so, I will make two final posts for senior – this one to summarize by findings to date and a second to show where additional research could be focused.

Edward Marden Sr. – other Military Records
I found the State of New Hampshire has a lot of records from the Revolutionary War period. I had no problem proving Edward Marden served for the state. Military rolls and other similar documents seldom give us much information, but they are worth looking at.
Edward Marden Sr. – Pension Records (part 1)
Well folks, I am sorry to take so long in getting back to the blog. I wish I could say it was a relaxing break, but Mother Nature had a different plan for me. I live in Maine where we experience “Winter Weather Conditions” (WWC for short) on a regular basis this time of year. I have been doing what seems like an endless series WWC chores since last Friday!

Edward Marden Sr. – A Timeline Summary
Every now and then during a research project I like to take time to review and summarize what I have learned and what I still need to learn.
I find creating timelines and studying maps to be incredibly useful tools at this stage of a project.
Creating a timeline consists of listing the data I have found in chronological order.
